Discover About Carl S. Jung - Father Of The Jung Art Therapy Theory. Who Particularly Is This Man?
Carl Jung, identified for the Jung art therapy theory , was one of the colleagues of the famous Austrian psychiatrist, Sigmund Freud, the founder of the psychoanalytic school of psychology. Freud has become internationally identified with his radical theories concerning the conscious vs. unconscious parts of the mind. Simultaneously beginning his Jung art therapy theories, Jung felt that even though Freud made the purpose of his therapy the unconscious conscious, he felt that it was produced to sound as if it have been an unpleasant "cauldron of seething desires."
But according to the American Art Therapy Association, Inc., Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud together, along with several other psychiatric persons at the time, had a big hand in the advancement of art therapy. It was believed that these historical professionals had the same perception that entered into the development of art therapy , together with its application of conflict resolution. The healing and learning that was taken from the "talk therapy" these men ultimately became identified for, was thought to have built a base for exposing the unconscious levels of the mind. But many really feel that it was the Jung art therapy that seemed to become the method upon which today's art therapy received its roots.
One of the methods Carl Jung employed for his patients to show their unconscious feelings was art, bringing forth the Jung art therapy approach. Inspired by both psychology and psychiatry, Jung's influence was centered on his devotion towards the psychological meaning that was inside of every art piece. Freud himself never had his patients do their own art work , but Carl Jung urged it. "To paint what we see prior to us, " Jung wrote, "is a diverse art from painting what we see inside."
